Climate Action Nurses (C.A.N) are a collaborative of Australian nurse’s who actively engage in advocacy, policy, research and education to empower nurses to lead the way in healthcare sustainability and climate health. C.A.N proudly launched their website in January 2023 www.climateactionnurses.org. The website includes action pillars, information about current activities, projects, free resources, and opportunities to engage with the innovative work that is currently being undertaken to build a sustainable healthcare system and help define the nurse’s role in a climate emergency.
