Advancing Communities Australia is committed to supporting projects that strengthen mental health, wellbeing and community resilience. Recognising the growing impact that stress, burnout and behaviour-related challenges are having on Australia’s educators, the organisation has partnered with Adamsense to help provide practical support for teachers.
Through this partnership, Advancing Communities Australia is supporting the introduction of Adamsense resources built around the CRACR Framework, including Chaos to Calm Classrooms and The CRACR Blueprint Journal. Through a Founding Pilot School initiative, selected schools will have access to these practical resources and volunteer support, with the aim of strengthening teacher confidence, promoting consistent classroom practice and supporting teacher wellbeing and mental health.
Teacher mental health is increasingly recognised as a critical factor in teacher retention and student outcomes. Many educators report that managing everyday classroom behaviour is one of the most significant contributors to stress, emotional exhaustion and feelings of overwhelm. While schools often have strong whole-school behaviour frameworks in place, teachers can still struggle with what these frameworks look like in the reality of the classroom.
The Adamsense CRACR Framework bridges this gap by providing practical, classroom-based strategies that help teachers respond calmly and consistently to everyday behaviour challenges. By increasing teacher confidence and reducing the emotional load associated with repeated behaviour incidents, the framework aims to support not only better learning environments but also healthier, more sustainable teaching careers.
Advancing Communities Australia believes that supporting teacher wellbeing is an investment in entire school communities. Through collaboration, volunteer support and innovative partnerships such as Adamsense, the organisation is helping create practical solutions that strengthen mental health, improve workplace wellbeing and contribute to keeping great teachers in the profession.
